Marcos Segador Arrebola is currently General Manager India and part of the Board of Directors for the GI group. He is responsible for leading the company operations across our 10 offices across India. Ensuring the proper strategy and execution for profitable growth within our range of HR solutions and services.

Gi Group is one of the world’s leading companies providing services for the development of the labour market. The group is active in the fields of temporary and permanent staffing, advanced outsourcing, search & selection and RPO, training, outplacement, HR consulting, as well as in a variety of complementary activities.

Marcos has had many varied experiences.  As a youngster, he worked during summer time selling phones, as PR for clubs, as electrician, as event organizer… and many others. he then  lived in Berlin to complete his bachelor thesis in Telecommunications Engineering and join the research group for one year at the university in the computer science department.

After his International MBA in Barcelona, he went to an exchange in Bangkok and Hanoi… and backpacked right after for 6 months across Asia on a budget. In order to pay for his MBA while doing it, he  created events with a colleague. Based in Barcelona, he organized events as far as in Almaty (Kazakhstan).

He has practice for 15+ years Vipassanā Meditation, including 10 days silence retreats (roughly) every 2 years, being one of the few foreigners visiting Myanmar (Burma) back in 2004. He travel to Bhutan as journalist, publishing articles in Spanish and Thai magazines.

During all these years, he acquired some important competences and experiences:
• Communication Skills and Managerial Capabilities in multicultural environments
• Project and Results Oriented, ready to adopt different attitudes depending on the situation
• Turnaround & business transformation leader, comfortable with Start-Up environments and multinationals structures
